# PHP website
A small server-rendered site with escaped output and a JSON health endpoint.
## Requirements
PHP 8.2+ locally. A production PHP server must be configured separately.
## Setup
1. Edit public/index.php and public/style.css. Set SITE_NAME in your shell if needed; PHP does not automatically load .env files.
2. Run php -S 127.0.0.1:8080 -t public for local development.
3. Visit / and /health.php. In production expose only public/ as the document root, never the project directory.
## Variables
- SITE_NAME: Optional site title; defaults to My project.
## Boundaries
The built-in PHP server is not a production server. No forms, sessions or database are included. Never expose .env or source configuration files.
Downloading does not deploy anything. The Botkeep preview stores files in your browser but does not execute processes, install packages or activate networking. Do not enter real credentials in the demo. Direct dependencies are versioned: keep generated lockfiles and review updates and vulnerabilities before production.
