Python, with a clear path to running.

Start with a typed FastAPI endpoint or a discord.py bot. Keep dependencies, startup and configuration explicit.

01

An isolated environment

Use a virtual environment and requirements.txt. Our starters declare direct dependency versions. Keep a tested lock or frozen dependency set for reproducible deployments and review updates regularly.

02

One entry point

The FastAPI starter runs Uvicorn from python main.py; the Discord starter opens its gateway client. Development reloaders and extra workers increase process and memory usage. Do not enable them blindly in a small allocation.

03

Persistent work, deliberate scheduling

Files belong in persistent storage; temporary variables disappear on restart. Long-running jobs need explicit retry and idempotency rules. No managed cron scheduler or task queue is included by these starters.

04

Network and native packages

HTTP APIs need allocated routing; outbound services need permitted network access. Packages requiring OS libraries may not fit a managed runtime. Managed containers do not provide root access or arbitrary system-package installation.
